A substantial sector of our society is underprivileged and impoverished; therefore, they are in need of our support. To our dismay, orphans compose a major part of this sector, and are continuously in need of our assistance in order to become effective and productive citizens; thus, creating a harmonious society. HOPE was founded last year, with a vision of helping orphaned children, who are searching for a glimpse of light and wishing to continue their path to knowledge by pursuing their education after the age of eighteen. The HOPE team which worked tirelessly throughout all of last year exceeded all expectations, pushed beyond their limits and managed to raise over 54000 USD (covering 19 students).

The HOPE team which worked tirelessly throughout all of last year exceeded all expectations, pushed beyond their limits and managed to raise over 54000 USD (covering 19 students). This initiative was created to be the HOPE for these young men and women, since continuing their education is the strongest weapon to empowering them, and we want to be the force that provides them with this education. I, personally, am a strong believer in the strength of the youth. It is my belief that if we hold their hands and guide them along their path, they can accomplish their dreams. HOPE is my fifth initiative. It is a true embodiment of my beliefs and of the fact that the impossible can become possible. We believe that the younger generation is the future; yet we do not give them tasks to prepare them to become future leaders. This initiative is designed to prepare the students to overcome all obstacles and engage them in proper preparation for future tasks. Having experienced the true hard work behind all of the initiatives that I have started to date, and the achievements accomplished through helping so many people, gives me a great feeling of satisfaction. In addition, it makes me believe that our world is truly full of compassionate people who want to help and support others. The HOPE team consists of a group of passionate and enthusiastic students who will go above and beyond to create the difference in the lives of these orphans. I HOPE that you will stand behind these students, whose shoulders are burdened with such an immense challenge, and help them achieve their target to become the role models within our society. I am hoping that you, as a society with its diverse shades, will unite and financially support these orphans through your generous donations. We ask that you join forces with them to shape a better future for these orphaned teenagers, hoping that we would reach a higher target this year. Be their hope and help draw smiles on their face.

Coming from a privileged family, being grateful was never enough for me, so I always try to find ways in which I could give back to my community and to God. The topic of 18 year old orphans and how they are left to find their own path with no economic nor societal abilities was actually addressed in my family before a month or so, as in my family when we meet up.
